Rant: Picked the wrong insurance broker and it almost sank my shop

I had to choose between a big national chain and a local broker who knew Detroit when I got my shop insured last year. I went with the chain because the price was $200 cheaper per month, but when a customer slipped in my bay they dragged their feet for six weeks on the claim. The local guy I passed on ended up sorting out the same issue for a buddy in two days. Has anyone else gambled on cheaper insurance and regretted it?
