Pro tip: My mom told me to donate one thing every time I buy something new and it actually works
Honestly, I thought she was just being preachy at first. But last month I brought home a $30 lamp from Target and forced myself to donate an old throw blanket to the Goodwill on Elm Street. Having that rule keeps me from grabbing random junk I don't need because I know I gotta get rid of something. Has anyone else tried a one-in-one-out system that actually stuck?

Yeah actually careful with Goodwill on Elm, I think that one closed down like two months ago. Might wanna double check before you drive over there with a car full of donations.
