Was dead set against meal prepping until I tried it for 3 weeks straight
I always thought meal prepping was for people who had their lives together way more than me. But after working 12 hour night shifts and eating vending machine crackers at 3am, I hit a wall. I spent $60 on Sunday and made 5 days of breakfast burritos and rice bowls. Now I actually look forward to my lunch break and I'm not crashing at 2pm anymore. Has anyone else found a simple prep method that actually stuck?

My buddy tried that "just pick one thing" advice and went all in on chicken and rice. First week he was fine. By week three he said he couldn't look at another piece of chicken without gagging. He ended up giving his whole second week's worth of prepped food to his neighbor's dog. Now he just makes big batches of chili and freezes it in those plastic soup containers. Says it's the only thing he can eat five days in a row without wanting to quit.

Man I was the same way. Thought meal prepping was for those instagram fitness people with matching tupperware and perfectly portioned chicken. My first attempt I burned the rice so bad it smelled like a campfire for three days. But yeah the burrito thing is solid. I just make a big batch of breakfast tacos on Sunday and freeze em. Microwave at work and I feel like a real human instead of a garbage disposal. The key is just picking one or two things and sticking with it. Dont try to be a gourmet chef. Keep it simple or youll quit by Wednesday like I did the first four times.
