The "quiet" coffee shop in Portland is anything but
Everyone raves about that minimalist spot on SE Division for remote work, but I went there Tuesday and the espresso machine noise plus the constant chair scraping made it louder than my office in Tulsa. Am I the only one who thinks "aesthetic" doesn't equal "productive" when picking a work spot?

Bring headphones and scope the place out during a weekday morning before committing to a full day there. Check the seating too, if the chairs dont have felt pads on the legs thats a dealbreaker.
