Peeled oranges the wrong way for 32 years

I was at my sister's house last Sunday. She grabs an orange and just pops the top off with her thumb. Then she pulls it apart in like 5 easy strips. I always dig my nail in and make a mess. Juice everywhere, rind under my nails. She looked at me and just laughed. You ever realize you been doing simple stuff the hard way your whole life?

Found out last week I've been peeling bananas wrong my whole life too. My roommate just laughed and showed me the pinch method after watching me struggle for months. Guess I'll hit peak adulthood by age 50 if I'm lucky.

Nah @the_diana, pinching is the wrong way - the stem method is way cleaner.

Um actually the pinch method on bananas can bruise them. Just sayin.
