Used to run every errand on one giant Saturday, now I do one thing a day and I get way more done
For years I would save up everything, laundry, grocery run, oil change, bank trip, and try to knock it all out in one 7 hour stretch at the strip mall off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. Last month I flipped it and started doing exactly one errand a day after work, and I haven't skipped a single thing in 23 days. My sister says I'm wasting gas doing small trips, and she's not wrong, but I stopped dreading my Saturdays. Which one actually counts as the win here, the big day or the streak?
