Pro tip: folding laundry right after the dryer vs waiting a day, one cut my pile in half
I used to let clean clothes sit in the basket for a day or two, and by the time I got to them there were 3 loads mixed together and I'd just give up. Last Tuesday I forced myself to fold one load straight out of the dryer while it was still warm, and it took me 11 minutes flat instead of the usual 25. The warm fabric doesn't wrinkle as much, so I'm not stopping to shake stuff out, and I don't end up with socks scattered all over the couch. Waiting means the pile grows and I dread it more, but folding right away feels like a chore sprint. Does anyone else do it this way, or am I just fooling myself?
