Rant: My fridge died and took $120 of food with it
Came home Tuesday to warm milk and soft ice cream. Compressor just gave up. Now I'm eating peanut butter sandwiches for a week while I save for a replacement. Anyone else have an appliance fail at the worst possible time?

$12 is insane for a pint that's half air. Regular store brand does the same job.

Hold up, is losing some ice cream and milk really that big of a deal? I mean yeah it sucks, but calling your wallet "mourning" over a $12 pint of Ben and Jerry's feels a bit dramatic. You're acting like you lost a pet or something. Peanut butter sandwiches are cheap and honestly pretty good, so it sounds like you're saving money on groceries this week anyway. Fridges die, it happens, but people act like their whole world ended when the ice cream gets soft. Grab a cooler and some ice from a gas station, you'll be fine.
