Hot take: I started jotting one line about my day before bed and now I actually remember stuff from last month
Three weeks ago I was lying in bed in my apartment in Denver and realized I couldn't recall a single thing I did the previous Tuesday. So I grabbed a $2 notebook from the grocery store and started writing one sentence before lights out. Last Friday I flipped back through it and found a note about a dumb joke my kid made at dinner on the 12th, and I laughed all over again. It takes me maybe 40 seconds a night. Anyone else keep a tiny log like this, or do you just trust your brain to hang onto the good stuff?
