Serious question, who told you to wait 24 hours before calling back about a job?
My uncle in Spokane swore I should sit on a mechanic's offer for a day to look less eager, so I did, and they gave the bay to somebody else by Tuesday morning. Turns out the shop manager hires on the spot and my pause read as cold feet. Did sitting on an offer ever work out for you, or did it just cost you the gig?
