Got a fake invoice email at work that looked real enough to fool our accountant
It was a Friday afternoon and the sender address was one letter off from a real vendor. I flagged it before payment went out, but it was close. How do you train non-tech staff to spot these without making them scared of every email?

We had a similar thing happen with a shipping notification. The link looked legit but the domain was something like "fedex-tracking-update.com". Now our rule is to never click links in those emails, just go directly to the actual carrier website and paste the number in.

My cousin got hit with a fake UPS one last year. Totally agree with @linda_dixon49, just typing the number straight into the real site is the only safe move now.

Check the sender's actual email address too.
