I got one of those credit repair mailers and almost threw it away, but 11 months later my score jumped 94 points
I got a mailer from a credit repair place in Dallas last year and laughed at it because everyone says those companies are a scam. My score was stuck at 612 and I had a $4,800 charge off from a store card I forgot about in 2019, so I figured what did I have to lose. They charged me $60 a month and made me send letters myself, which felt weird, but they actually got the charge off deleted after 4 months. Has anyone else tried one of these services and did it work out or did they just take your money?

That $60 a month adds up to $720 real fast, and mailing your own letters is stuff you can look up free on YouTube.
