Passed my CCO practical on the third try last Thursday in Fort Worth
Bombed the load chart portion twice before this, mostly the boom angle math under pressure. This time I walked the whole swing path before touching a lever and it clicked, passed with an 86. Anybody got tips for staying calm on the written part?

Fort Worth load chart math will humble you for sure. Lotta guys fail that part because they rush the boom angle instead of just writing the numbers down first. My trick for the written is read the question twice before you even look at the answers, because they word them to trip you up. Skip the ones you get stuck on and come back, sitting there spinning on question 4 just burns time and nerves.
