Found out my old Liebherr manual had a load chart mistake that could've been bad
I was flipping through a 2011 service guide for a 130-ton crawler I picked up last month and noticed the rated capacity at 10 meters radius was off by nearly 4 tons compared to the updated version. Double checked it three times because I couldn't believe a factory manual would have that big of an error. Has anyone else caught a serious typo in a manual or load chart that made you rethink trusting older reference materials?

Read a safety bulletin last year that mentioned a similar issue with old crane charts from that era.

Different reading on my end actually. Those old charts were pretty reliable if you knew their limits, the issue was usually operators pushing past what was printed.
