Vent: Had to choose between a steady job and moving across the country for a person

Six years back, my partner got a dream offer in Seattle, but my dental office here in Ohio was finally giving me good hours. I picked the move, and the first two years were ROUGH, working temp jobs while I got licensed. The conversation that changed me was my boss back home saying, 'Sage, a chair will always be here, but a life won't wait.' It pushed me to go.
