My GPS failure in Austin taught me to trust the old paper map trick
Last month my phone died during a delivery run in Austin, right in the middle of the 35th Street detour mess. I panicked for a solid 10 minutes until I remembered my dad's old habit of reading the sun and highway signs. His advice about always noting the next big intersection saved me from circling for an hour. Has anyone else had a tech fail that made them go old school?
