Two years back my brother in law sat across from me at a cookout in Tulsa and asked how much I actually knew about where my 401k was going, and I could not answer him. I pulled the statement that night, saw $31,200 just sitting in a default fund since 2019, and moved it over three weeks of reading instead of guessing. How do you all handle the person in your life who asks the question you have been dodging?
