Showerthought: I used to think compressed air for cleaning PCs was a gimmick until a dusty server in Tampa proved me wrong.

I saw a senior tech clear a thermal shutdown on a Dell PowerEdge with just a can of air, saving a full tear-down. Has anyone else had a simple tool fix a problem you thought was complex?

Yeah, it's wild how often the simple fix works. I once spent an hour trying to diagnose a weird network drop on a switch, only to find a spiderweb had built up inside an open SFP port. A quick blast of air and it was back online.

Spiderwebs, seriously? @avery_jackson gets it.

Classic case of overthinking it. Happens all the time with dusty ports or a loose cable. You go straight for the complex software logs when the fix is just physical.

Honestly, @kai445, I thought the same until my own dusty fan proved me wrong.
