Last week's dive made me rethink my entire drysuit routine

Pulled my drysuit off after a 6 hour shift in Tacoma and realized I've been fighting the zipper for 3 years when the trick is just loosening the neck seal first. Been doing it the hard way since my first commercial gig in 2021. Anyone else catch themselves overcomplicating gear that's been fine the whole time?

Nah, loosening the neck seal first just means you're fighting water ingress later if it relaxes mid-dive. That zipper tension is doing half the work keeping the seal locked, so you might be trading a small fight for a bigger leak.
