My compost bin taught me I was wrong about food waste for a decade
After 10 years of tossing citrus peels and eggshells in the trash because I thought they'd never break down, I started a 3-bin system in Austin last spring and now that first batch turned into dark crumbly soil in 8 months, so what else have I been overcomplicating that's actually simple?
