Dialed in my Aeropress method after countless attempts.
The coffee tastes balanced and full every time now. Using a slightly coarser grind was the key change.

Interesting. Always had better luck with a finer grind myself. Gets more flavor out of the beans. Coarser just tasted weak and sour. Maybe it depends on the coffee roast.

The bag of light roast from Colombia I got last week. Every coffee guru has a different magic trick for the perfect cup. William swears by fine grind, you say coarse is key. I tried both and now my counter is covered in little grounds piles. It's like we're all trying to solve a puzzle that changes daily. My buddy uses a two-dollar drip machine and loves his coffee, so maybe we're all just overthinking this.

How many bags did you ruin before finding your method? I dumped out so many bad cups it was pathetic. My breakthrough came when I stopped listening to advice and just tasted the coffee. If it's sour, go finer; if it's bitter, go coarser. Now I tweak one thing at a time until it works, no more guesswork.

Murray's right about the two dollar drip machine. We're all chasing some perfect cup that might not even exist. My neighbor drinks instant with creamer and is happy as can be. Sometimes I wonder if we're just making a hobby out of something that should be simple.
