Just realized my first coding project from 2019 is still running on a server somewhere
I spent all week digging through old repos and found a weather app I built in a weekend crash course that's been collecting API data for nearly 4 years without me knowing. Has anyone else stumbled across old code that somehow stayed alive longer than anything you've written recently?

Pretty sure there's a "hello world" I deployed on a free Heroku instance back in 2018 that's still counting visitors. It must have racked up a few hundred thousand hits by now, mostly from bots and web crawlers. Kind of feels like finding out a houseplant you forgot about is somehow thriving on its own.
