Just flushed $120 on a Python course that was all theory with zero real projects
The instructor just talked for 6 hours straight about variables and loops but never showed me how to build a single thing, so has anyone else found a beginner coding course that actually forces you to write code from day one?

6 hours straight about variables and loops" is exactly why I ditched my first course too. Look into The Odin Project or FreeCodeCamp, both are free and literally make you code from lesson one. Just skip anything that talks at you for more than 20 minutes without you typing.

I once sat through a 2 hour lecture on data types and my brain literally turned into a loading spinner halfway through. Pretty sure I retained more from accidentally clicking the wrong button in the terminal. Have you found a course that actually clicks for you yet?

Never thought of it that way, @wood.faith might be onto something here.
