Can we talk about how opting for solar chargers (they're more affordable now) during my off-grid camping trip significantly lowered our carbon output?

More affordable now, and here I am still buying disposable batteries.

My junk drawer is a battery graveyard. Twenty plus dead AAAs from last year. I have the rechargeable kit, still in plastic. Forget to charge them, or just don't care. Probably both.
