Found rust on my trunk lid because I was covering my car with a plastic tarp
Pulled the cover off my 68 Mustang after 4 months in the garage and found bubbling paint along the trunk seam where moisture had been trapped underneath. Switched to a breathable cotton cover and a cheap box fan running on low. Anyone else had good luck with a specific cover material for long term indoor storage?

Try Dri-Z-Air too, pulls the damp right out.
