My neighbor in Reno said never buy a car with rust in the trunk floor, and I ignored him
He told me this 6 months ago when I was looking at a 1968 Mustang for $3,500. I thought surface rust on the trunk pan was no big deal, so I bought it anyway. Pulled up the mat last Saturday and the whole pan was gone, so how much rust is too much before you just walk away?
