The light rail platform at 2am made me change my whole commute route
I got stuck at the MLK station downtown around 2am last Tuesday after a late shift. The platform was empty except for this guy pacing and muttering about a red truck that was following him. My phone was dead and the next train was 22 minutes out. I ended up walking 8 blocks to the 24-hour diner just to wait inside. Since then I always take the bus home even if it adds 30 minutes. Has anyone else had a spot that just gave you a bad feeling and you never went back?

The "22 minutes out" thing is the real kicker. That's a long time to stand there wondering if the muttering guy is actually talking about you. I started carrying a portable charger after a similar wait, and I also check the bus schedule before I leave work now, just so I have a backup plan if the platform feels off.
