Paid $35 for the Skyline Drive overlook in Denver and it's just a parking lot with a view of a wall
Save your cash if you're thinking about the paid overlook off I-70 west of Denver. Me and my buddy split it and got a chain link fence blocking half the mountains. The free pull-off a mile back actually faces the open range. Skip the toll booth and pull over at the dirt lot past the second exit instead.

That's a real bummer, $35 for a fence view is rough. Good looking out on the free dirt lot tip, I'll remember that next time I'm out there.
