Heard a homeowner in Cincinnati call our job 'just pushing a brush up and down'

I was finishing a cleanout yesterday and the guy was on the phone in the next room. He said that exact phrase to someone, like it was nothing. It got me thinking about how we explain the work. I spent 45 minutes just on the crown inspection and camera check before I even got the rods out. How do you all talk about the value of a full service sweep versus what people think we do?

Describe what you actually found during that crown inspection. Was there a hidden crack, a serious blockage, or something else that "just pushing a brush" would have completely missed?

Look at the x-ray they posted. That shadow is just a weird angle, not a real crack. Sometimes old fillings or the way the tooth sits can look like a problem when it's totally fine. A good cleaning might have been all it actually needed.
