TIL my old way of thinking about climate change was way too passive

I used to think recycling and using less plastic was enough, but a report from my city showing our local river warming by 3 degrees in a decade made me realize I need to push for bigger policy changes. Has anyone else shifted from just personal habits to getting involved in local advocacy?

What kind of advocacy are you looking at? That river report sounds like a real wake-up call.

Consider how that report, @dakota415, might actually overstate the problem for funding.

Totally get that shift. I started going to town hall meetings after our local park kept flooding, it makes a difference to show up.
