PSA: I used to think therapy was just for 'serious' problems until a rough Tuesday in March.

My car broke down, work was a mess, and I just cried in a Target parking lot in Omaha. That afternoon I booked a session, and it helped me sort through the daily stress I was ignoring. What finally pushed you to try something you'd written off before?

Yeah, that feeling of being stuck but not broken is so real. It’s like you’re just waiting for permission to help yourself.

Gotta disagree with the whole 'stuck not broken' thing. Feeling stuck and feeling broken are just two different flavors of the same problem if you ask me. I've been both and the fix was the same - I needed to actually change something in my life, not just talk about how I felt. Therapy helped me see that I was wasting time analyzing my feelings instead of just making a move.

My 32nd birthday. Just felt flat. Not sad, just empty. Like a gray Tuesday that lasted all month. A friend said maybe it was more than a bad mood. She was right. Started talking to someone and it helped me see I was just stuck, not broken.

Glad you talked to someone, @robin628. Sometimes you just need a fresh view to get moving again.
