My new phone case broke after 3 days in my back pocket in Austin

I bought this slim case online because it looked sleek and promised military grade drops. On day 3 I sat down at a taco joint on South Congress and heard a crack. The back plate shattered just from sitting on a wooden bench. I swapped back to my old bulky Otterbox that morning and I don't care if I look like a dork anymore. Has anyone else had a "premium" case fail them that fast?

Bet the "military grade" was just marketing hype, not heat tolerance.

@stellaperry I've actually seen some legit military grade stuff hold up, but you're right that a lot of companies just slap the label on for marketing. In my experience the real heat tested gear usually costs way more and isn't sold to the general public.
