Thought power stretchers were overkill until I tried one on a 12x15 room last Tuesday

I always used knee kickers for residential work because that's how my old man taught me, but after pulling a 12x15 family room with a power stretcher for the first time I saw zero wrinkles and saved 20 minutes on the job so who was really the stubborn one here?

Why do we always fight the easier way first?

Honestly, is there anything more frustrating than realizing you made things way harder than they had to be for years just because you were too stubborn to try? It's like my uncle who still hand sands every piece of furniture even though he's got a sander gathering dust in the garage because that's how grandpa did it. I've noticed people in all kinds of fields get locked into the "my way is the right way" mindset even when a better tool is right there. Ngl, it's a tough habit to break because pride gets involved and no one wants to admit they wasted time for a decade. But once you see the difference, you can't really go back to the old way without feeling like a clown.
