Unpopular opinion: I used to hate the pumpkin spice crowd, but a $6 latte at a gas station in Ohio turned me around
I gave it a shot during a 14 hour drive and realized the hype is about the ritual, not the drink, and now I actually get why people line up for it, anyone else flip on a canceled trend after giving it one real try?

Is a $6 coffee really about some deep ritual, or is it just that you were bored out of your mind after 8 hours of driving?
Plenty of people drink that stuff every fall and it's just a sweet drink, nothing more.
Sounds like the long road trip lowered your standards more than the latte changed your mind.
