PSA: that $12 solar lantern from the hardware store outlasted my $70 one
Bought a cheap little solar lantern at the Ace in Bozeman three summers back as a backup, and it has run every single night since while my fancy brand name light died in month four. I only figured it out because I left both hanging on the same tent line during a week of rain in July and the cheap one kept going. Turns out a rubber gasket and a simple switch beat a touch panel and a USB port every time. Anyone else get burned by a pricey light that quit on them?
