Threw $400 at a fancy coax stripper that promised perfect cuts every time and it barely lasted 3 jobs before the blade went dull.
My old manual one from 2012 still works fine, so take this with a grain of salt but has anyone else had luck with those pricey auto strippers or is it all just hype?

Saw a review that said they wear out faster than a cheap razor blade.

Bet my technique is so bad these blades would last me about one cut and then give up on life. I can barely keep a pencil sharp without breaking it, so throwing $400 at a tool I'd probably dull in five minutes sounds about right. Honestly, I respect anyone who can make these things last more than a couple jobs.

Man, that's rough. $400 for three jobs is brutal. @nancyj11 is probably right, those blades might just be cheaply made.

Figured I'd chime in. I've run those same blades and got way more cuts out of them before they dulled. Maybe it's just the operator technique or something else going on.
