A homeowner in Denver told me my wall fish looked like a toddler drew it

He was right, my old method was sloppy. Now I use a laser level for every single drop and it's perfect. Anyone got a better trick for keeping the line straight through insulation?

Wait, you said a laser level for EVERY single drop? That's some serious dedication right there. I can't imagine pulling that thing out that many times on one job. My arm would be dead by the second outlet! Do you really set it up fresh for each box, or do you just run a line and follow it?

Honestly, my guy thinks I'm out here doing a full laser light show for each box. Tbh I just pop it on a tripod in the hallway and shoot a line down the whole wall. My arm would fall off if I set it up fresh every time, that's just crazy.

Michaeld48 gets at something bigger here, the modern push for perfect results over just getting things done. People seem to spend more time setting up tools than actually doing the work these days. It makes you wonder if that extra step is always worth the effort.
