My entire weekly spread bled through after trying a new ink
I switched to a fountain pen with a permanent black ink for my journal last Tuesday, and it ghosted so badly on my usual 80gsm paper I can barely read the opposite side. I had to carefully copy the whole week's plan onto fresh pages, which took over an hour. What's a good, truly bulletproof ink that won't bleed on thinner notebook paper?

My buddy had that exact problem with his planner. He switched to a basic iron gall blue-black from a popular brand. The bleed-through stopped completely, even on cheap paper.

Makes sense, iron gall inks are way less wet than most modern ones. That drier flow is probably what saves the paper.
