Local library just axed all bullet journal workshops, what now?

Our local library stopped hosting bullet journal workshops last week. This was a key spot for newbies to learn basics and share tips. Anyone know of other places in town doing similar meetups?

Library budgets getting slashed again, what a surprise. It sucks for everyone starting out with bullet journals. Check community centers or art supply stores; they often run craft workshops that include journaling. Facebook groups for local planners are great for spotting meetups or even starting one yourself. I had to set up a coffee shop group after my library axed their sessions. Post in local online forums, and you'll probably find others looking for the same thing.

Can I join if my bullet journal looks like a toddler's art project?

Oh man, my bullet journal is just a mess of scribbled to-do lists and coffee stains. I tried drawing a fancy monthly calendar last week and it looks like a confused spider fell in ink. @wells.zara has the right idea looking for those craft workshops, because I clearly need adult supervision. My "habit tracker" is just a sad column of unchecked boxes. Honestly, if my journal was any more chaotic, it would need its own warning label.

My friend Jake joined a planner meetup at Barnes & Noble after our library canceled its sessions.
