Spent $60 on a meal prep service and it actually saved me money on groceries

I was always throwing out half my veggies every week because I'd forget about them. So I signed up for one of those meal kit delivery things for a month at $60 per week. At first I thought it was just another money sink but then I actually added up what I normally spend on groceries and takeout. It came out to around $90 a week on average for just myself. The kit forces me to cook everything so nothing goes bad and I'm not ordering pizza on lazy nights. Plus I stopped buying random snacks because the meals fill me up better. Has anyone else found that paying a bit upfront actually cuts your food bill down?

Oh man you're totally right about the snack thing. I noticed the same thing with my meal service, I just don't feel the need to graze all day anymore.

Totally. Grazing mode just turns off automatically. It's wild.

Started keeping track and realized I was spending like $40 a month on those single serve yogurt cups I'd eat two of and forget about... ended up switching to bulk yogurt with a meal kit and saved way more than I thought.
