My checked bag took 3 days longer than I did in Berlin
Flew into Berlin last month and my luggage went to Munich somehow. I waited at the airport counter for 2 hours, filed a report, and the airline said it might arrive that night. It took 3 full days and I had to buy a 45 euro outfit just to have something clean. Now I always pack a spare shirt in my carry-on, anyone else had this happen with Lufthansa?

Do you think the airline actually wanted it to take 3 days so they could avoid paying for a hotel voucher? I had a similar delay once and it felt like every excuse they gave was just stalling until I gave up asking for compensation. That spare shirt trick is smart, but honestly the real lesson here is to always check the rules on EU 261 claims before you leave the airport.
