I was sure those overnight bus rides in Europe would be miserable, but taking one from Berlin to Prague saved me a hostel night and $60.

Has anyone else found a specific route where the bus was actually decent for sleeping?

Free earplugs and water? That sounds like a bus company's idea of a five star hotel. I've taken that Oslo route and you're right, it's the one time I didn't want to throw myself out the emergency exit by sunrise. The real trick is finding a driver who actually cares about the quiet part, most of them blast talk radio all night.

Ngl, the Oslo to Copenhagen route with FlixBus was weirdly good. The seats reclined more than usual and they gave out free earplugs and a bottle of water. The road was mostly flat and the driver kept the cabin dark and quiet. I actually got a solid five hours of sleep and woke up feeling okay for once.

What about the bathroom breaks, though?
