I compared rice cookers and stovetop pots, the $15 pot wins every time after 40 batches

After 6 months of testing both side by side, my stovetop pot makes fluffier rice in 18 minutes and cleans up in 2, so why do people keep pushing $60 rice cookers, has anyone else ditched theirs for the simple method?

My 6 year old $9 Walmart pot made rice so sticky my dog ate it off the floor, so fluffy ain't always the goal.

Ha, my $5 pot did the same thing, rice was basically glue, but my cat loved it too.
