My barber's 2 minute lecture on beard oil changed how I tip

He told me I was using beard oil wrong for 4 years while I sat in his chair in Columbus, and he showed me the patchy spots that proved it, so I asked him to pick my next bottle and I gave him a $15 tip, has anyone else had a service worker straight up correct their routine on the spot?

Wait, he could actually SEE the patchy spots right there in the chair? Like he pulled out a mirror and showed you where you were messing up? That's wild, man. I've had bartenders tell me I'm ordering drinks wrong but never had a barber do a live demo on my face. Four years of doing it wrong though, that's brutal, I'd be questioning everything I know about grooming at that point. Honestly the $15 tip was smart, that dude probably saved you from looking rough for years to come.

Wait, barbers can do live demos on your face now?
