Am I the only one who thought audiobooks don't count as real reading?
For years I rolled my eyes when people in my book club said they listened to the book on their drive to work. Last month I had a 40 minute commute each way and tried the audio version of our pick, and I finished it in 5 days while barely noticing the traffic. Then at the meeting I caught a detail about the sister's letter that the two people who read the paper copy both missed. Now I'm wondering if I've been unfair to the whole format for years. Has anyone else switched sides on this, or is it still cheating in your group?
