I thought legacy games were just a cash grab until I played Pandemic Legacy Season 1

My group in Austin finally convinced me to try it last month, and we finished the whole campaign in four sessions. The way the game changed permanently after each play, with stickers and torn up cards, actually made our choices feel heavy. Now I'm looking for something with a similar impact but maybe a fantasy theme. What legacy game gave your group that 'wow' moment?

Honestly, my group tried Gloomhaven for the fantasy fix after Pandemic Legacy. Tbh the sheer amount of stuff in that box was overwhelming at first, we almost quit. Ngl, the moment our first character retired and unlocked a new class was pretty wild, it felt like we'd really changed the world. That game just eats up your whole dining room table for months though.
