Yeah, the board flipper is the worst. We started picking games that are more about the group doing something silly together, like Codenames. Takes the pressure off.

The point is to have fun, not to act like you're in a tournament for a million bucks. I had a friend who would get so mad at Monopoly he'd flip the board. We stopped inviting him. Now we just laugh when someone gets sent to jail for the third time. It's a game, not a life or death thing.
