The $180 concert ticket I bought 8 months ago that I'm still paying for
Back in March I grabbed two VIP passes to see a band I liked in high school at the Fillmore in Philly. Then the show got rescheduled twice, and by the time it actually happened last month, I didn't even care anymore. I went anyway, stood in the back, and realized I only remembered two songs. Has anyone else dropped serious cash on nostalgia and ended up feeling like you just paid for the memory of a memory?

The rescheduled twice part hit me hard. Same thing happened with a festival I bought tickets to in 2020, it got pushed three times and by the time it happened I was just going through the motions. I ended up selling my second night ticket for half of what I paid just to cut my losses. Honestly, the best thing I did was stop buying tickets more than a month out unless it's someone I've seen live before and know I'll love.
