That $60 air purifier I bought on a whim actually cut my allergy meds in half
I figured it was just snake oil, but after three weeks running it in my bedroom in Phoenix I stopped waking up stuffy. Has anyone else found a cheap fix that actually worked way better than you expected?

@rose_reed I saw a study a while back about how dry air helps with breathing at night, so your dehumidifier makes total sense. My aunt lives in Florida and swore by one she got for under $50, said it cut down on her snoring too. For me it was this little $30 air purifier I picked up at Target, nothing fancy just a basic HEPA filter. Honestly I had low expectations but after a week my asthma symptoms were way less noticeable in the mornings. It's wild how a small change can make a big difference when you least expect it.

Oh man, that's exactly what happened to me with a cheap dehumidifier I grabbed for like $40 on sale. I live in a humid area and was sick of waking up with that thick, heavy feeling in my chest. Ran it in my bedroom for a week and honestly I was shocked how much better I slept. The air just felt lighter and cleaner. It's not fancy or anything but it does the job way better than I expected for the price. Sometimes the simple stuff really works if you give it a chance.
