Is it just me or does anyone else think 2 weeks for a car repair is ridiculous?
Dropped my Honda off at a shop in Nashville for a simple alternator swap. They said 2 days. After a week of calling, they finally admitted they ordered the wrong part. Then another week for the right one to show up. Total time was 12 days. The shop acted like that's normal. Am I crazy for thinking a basic job like that shouldn't take more than 3 days tops? How long have you guys waited on what should've been a quick fix?

Man I had the same thing happen on my old F-150, ended up calling around to three different shops before one finally said they could do it in two days if I brought my own part.
